As the 2025/26 season draws to a close, speculation about who will be Liverpool’s manager moving forward is continuing.Xabi Alonso has been mooted as an option for a while now, and German outlet Bild have now published a report on Wednesday saying that the Spaniard is ‘ready for Liverpool!’However, while the Reds’ former midfielder may be open to a move after he departed Real Madrid earlier this year, those in a position of power currently have no plans in place to remove Arne Slot from his post.
